The Motley Zoo Animal Rescue (of Redmond, WA) passed this along to us:

Baby Hayley came to us with a life threatening liver shunt. Thanks to generous donations from our supporters, we were able to provide the $3700 surgery she needed to clamp off the blood vessel that was bypassing her liver, and not allowing her blood to be filtered properly.

She is recovered, and will never again be in danger…but she needs a home!
